Optoma expects to ship more than 70,000 pico projectors in 2010
Taiwan-based DLP projector maker Optoma Technology on July 6 unveiled two DLP pico projectors, the 20-lumen brightness PK201 and 50-lumen brightness PK301, with both featuring Osram-made LED chips, and will offer additional models by the end of 2010 in a bid to increase its shipments to more than 70,000 units in 2010 from 37,600 pico projectors in 2009, according to the company.
