dont listen to the review that it’s not for the home theater,first using the stretch mode 16:9 looks great 1080i looks great from my comcast hd,
also i’m using panasonic 1080p upconvert dvd recorder and my movies look great, buy a dvi-hdmi cable with a hdmi switcher and you’ll be fine, good contrast level at 2200-1 ,lums are 2300 at full mode eco mode 1800 very bright, bulb cost is around $250.00 just bought one after a yr of use, i just love mine!!! i hope this was helpful

I chose this product because it was the cheapest xga resolution front end projector I could find. It’s been great. I highly recommend it.

Large plasmas only get a little better picture than this and they’re much more expensive and bulky.

US projector market up 12% sequentially in 2Q09, says iSuppli (Digi Times)
Shipments of front projectors in North America rose 12.4% in the second quarter of 2009 to reach 440,322 units, up from 391,646 in the first quarter, according to iSuppli. This contrasts with a 0.4% sequential decline in global projector shipments during the quarter.
