Customer Review: Optoma EP727
For the price Optoma EP727 is a decent projector. The movie mode is not as crisp as I thought it would be. The fact that this is a Data projector not aHome Theater Projector and also I was using a cheap DVD player with composite out may have something to do with it. Can’t yet judge this projector until I use an HD or Blu-Ray Media and Player with DVI or S-Video connections (No budget for that at this time). It sure gets very hot though! Just in case, I had an external fan blowing on the unit while playing.
Customer Review: Dated
Would be nice to have a/v inputs, but this is a good projector with good features. The advent of HDMI is something to keep in mind. It will be curious to see how long this will be compatable with changing technology.
For the record, this projector has been easy to set up and use, and seems to have very nice quality. It is lighweight and very easy to transport. Having an adjustable rear leg would have been nice for uneven surfaces, but this is minor.
